There are several hikes of various distances with something of interest to all. Umdoni Park is an area of exceptional natural beauty. It is also one of the last remaining coastal forests in South Africa.

Circular Walk
Circular Walk is a short trail that will give you a good feel for Umdoni Forest. A small dam alongside the golf course attracts many types of wildlife. 15 – 30 mins
Ridge – Orange
Traverse over the ridge in the heart of Umdoni Park to join other trails. Stand still for a few moments to experience nature at its finest. 45 mins – 1 hour
Pan-Handle – Red
Pan-Handle is a short trail at the edge of the forest trails. From here you can link on to the Park’s other trails. 1 hour – 1.5 hours
Molly’s Road – White
A tree-framed road will entice you along to the almost magical view from the Otter View Site. A rare tree Dahlgrenodendron natalensis stands majestically above. 1 hour – 1.5 hours
Meander Stream – Green
The forest envelopes you as you meander alongside a tiny stream. The birdlife above, and below, can be deafening. 1 hour – 1.5 hours
Boundary – Yellow
Following the Northern boundary of the park, Boundary trail offers a different perspective of the area. 1 hour – 1.5 hours
Gorge – Blue
Descend into the gorge on this stunning trail along the Nkumbane River.
